Proficient in providing holistic patient care: Assess, Monitor, teach, and document plan of care.
Insert intravenous lines, monitor, evaluate, and document fluid administration, medication administration, blood, and blood products on such lines.
Access PICC lines, HICCMAN lines, double lumen, and triple lumen, femoral, and subclavin catheters: administer fluids, medications, blood and blood products, flush lines per protocol, do aseptic dressing changes on such lines.
Insert , assess and monitor patency, input and output of nasal gastric tube.
Monitor and assess Gastric PEG tube, for placement, residual, input, output and signs and symptoms of infection.
Insert and, assess patency of indwelling catheter. Monitor and document shift intake and catheter output.
Perform dressing changes and wound care following doctors orders, using aseptic technique.
Perform peritoneal dialysis exchange, change dressing site, monitor for signs of infection, weight gain, and effectiveness of treatment, document findings.
Provide respiratory treatments, as well as tracheotomy care.
Assess client using a head to toe procedure, evaluation each system, and document findings.
Administer medications using the five rights, evaluate outcome of such medication, document outcome as well as monitor for negative, or adverse side effects.
Provide teaching on wound care, disease process, medications and plan of care to patients and family members.
Communicate efficiently with clients, family members, nursing staff and physicians to provide prompt effective patient care.
