I did my clinicals at a long term care facility, Alpha Home, ( an inpatient and outpatient home for women rehabilitating from substance abuse) two hospitals, (Medina Community Hospital in Hondo, Texas and Kindred Hospital in San Antonio). I have had the chance to practice nursing skills such as inserting an IV, preparing and administering medicine, vital signs, assisting with ADL’s, wound care, and respiratory care.
